in the area of human rights<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My artistic projects also provide opportunities for social dialogue and inspiration \u2013 including in the field of human rights. In addition, I support European foundations, NGOs, and international organizations in matters of integration and intercultural dialogue. My focus areas include strengthening democracy and equal opportunities, and changing perceptions and attitudes \u2013 especially through the media \u2013 to make human rights more effective. The aim is to help bring a human rights culture to life. My <a href=\"https:\/\/beate-winkler.net\/en\/author\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"\/autorin\">numerous publications<\/a> also contribute to this, for example, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/beate-winkler.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Tackling-intercultural-conflicts.pdf\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"2974\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tackling intercultural conflicts \u2013 finding approaches to solutions<\/a>.&#8221;    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the heart of Beate Winkler&#8217;s activities:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the action paper \u201cWe have more opportunities than we think\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/beate-winkler.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/MoreOptionsThanwethink.pdf\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"1212\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">German <\/a>| <a href=\"https:\/\/beate-winkler.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/MoreOptionsThanwethink.pdf\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"1224\">English<\/a>) I give around 50 concrete suggestions on how each and every one of us can strengthen democracy and coexistence in everyday life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The initiative \u201c#ZUSAMMEN! Zukunftsbilder f\u00fcr eine neues WIR\u201d<br\/>This initiative advocates for social cohesion and positive visions of the future for an open, fair, and democracy-enhancing society, which we urgently need to address our major challenges such as the consequences of the war in Ukraine, climate change, digitalization, and migration. The initiative aims to raise public awareness of these issues and promote new forms of collaboration. The initiators contacted a wide range of organizations, asking them to organize their own events, using their own resources and responsibility, on the following topics: \u201cHow do we want to live together in the future? Can we work together to overcome the growing divisions and polarizations, the feeling of a lack of participation, and the lack of influence on political decision-making processes in our society?\u201d The results were compiled on a shared platform, projects were held during the action days from November 6\u201311, 2022, and presented publicly on November 14 at the Radio Culture House.   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.idc.vision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Initiative Digitalisierung Chancengerecht<\/a>&#8221; (IDC) was founded at the suggestion of Doris Schmidauer, together with Sabine K\u00f6szegi, Marlies Lenglachner, Martina Mara, and myself. It is committed to ensuring that digital transformation is shaped in a humane, democratic, socially responsible, and environmentally sound manner. The 2019 UNESCO report &#8220;I Would Blush If I Could,&#8221; which forms the basis of its work, developed 15 recommendations to close the gender gap in digital education.
